A message from Ben:

This is Merced STAR 212, the “boiling point”. We are a family motorcycle association that is part of Star Touring and Riding. STAR is international with benefits and functions all over the country. Our objective is to go on our own rides and functions, and interact with the family of STAR as much as possible. On chapter rides, there is a no drinking or drug use policy. We also encourage spouse and family to participate. This group also does other activities besides rides, and not all are STAR functions. Our chapter is spread from Salida north, to Merced south, west to Los Banos, and east to Waterford. So if you want to meet a diverse bunch of great people, that like to get together and have fun and become friends, then this may be the group you’re looking for, and you should come join us. Julie and I have been members of STAR almost five years now. Since then we have had a lot of fun, and have met a lot of new friends. I feel friendship is one of the keys to a happy life, and with this chapter we have been very happy. This chapter is an easy going and fun group, and I'm proud to be a part of it. So if you want to be happier in life and like to ride, come and join us.
