A message from our Chapter President:

I would like to welcome all of you to our chapter and take you through what we do around here. We have monthly meetings on the second Saturday of each month, usually at a place to have a good breakfast and a good cup of Joe. Following our meetings we usually go for a ride, just to feel the wind in our face. We all know why dogs love to stick their heads out of the car window !

We take various rides together as a group and we have some big events during the year. Don’t miss our annual Veteran’s Ride in March. We collect items for our current local US Troops overseas, who are defending our beautiful country. We honor our Veteran’s with a ride to the Memorial Cemetery in Santa Nella, then over to the Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, where we deliver all the items to be sent to our US Troops. In June, we ride to Reno, NV. for our big Star BBQ event, which is usually the whole weekend. Our Big Event of the year is our Poker Run which happens in September. All proceeds go to Sierra Vista Children and Family Services. We will be riding throughout the year so check out our calendar and I hope to see you out there with us.

Last, but most important, we ride sober, no tavern stops and no drugs. We are a family oriented group, and we like to get to where we need in a safe manner. We love to have new people join us, you may feel a bit suffocated by all the attention at first, but that’s only because we like to get to know our future members. So if you would like to join a great family group that loves to ride and have fun, we would love to have you.

I will be the best President that I can be and I will do my best to understand and listen to everyone’s needs. My family and I really love being a part of Merced Star Chapter 212 and we believe that our chapter is the best because of our dedicated members.
